Customer Service ignores me
I am reading other reviews and see I am in a similar position to many others. I received a damaged table on January 13th, and as soon as it was unpacked, I sent in an After Sales Request. I have since spoken with Customer Service three times, each time being promised that someone would get back to me - but i have received no communication at all. This is unbelievable in this day and age that an entity owned by Printemps could be so disrespectful of its customers.

Very disappointed with the service…
Very disappointed with the service placed order for bar stools before Xmas
Received items damaged, they were broken, trying to communicate with customer services to get answers has been impossible having constantly chasing them for answers what is going on
we r now in February and haven’t received my replacement stools
Very bad service won’t be ordering from them again

broken item, no costumer service available to help.
I bought a concrete stool on the 3rd of January, order n°200334622, that arrived broken. I got in touch and send all the pictures of the broken stool etc, but no one replies to me and every time I get in touch with customer service they say things like, "they will reply to you tomorrow as that team only works mornings." (very convenient). Until now I haven't received a reply or a call to try to get my money back for a broken order. I want my money back now as I had spent so much time trying to sort it out.

SCAM Ordered a Seletti BULB don't trust !!!
Order n°200332303 placed on 22 Nov 2022, to this day I only receive offers from this company, The product was supposed to arrive within 6-8 weeks of placing the order. Luckily I paid with Paypal, I'll wait a few more days and file a claim

I can wait but I don't believe you will ever deliver my order...this is the second bulb I've purchased from you, the first never arrived. I understand they pay you to pretend your company is a trusted retailer, but it's not, maybe 0.5% of your customers received the ordered goods. Paypal protection is valid for 180 days from the date of placing the order so I'll give you the last chance

Withholding refund. Terrible customer service.
I ordered some Jars crockery in early December and one bowl arrived broken. Since then I have emailed using the contact form and made repeated calls to customer service and every time they tell me I will receive a refund within a week. The money has never been returned. The customer service team seem unable or unwilling to get this refund actioned. Beautiful products but terrible after sales service.

Useless customer service
They delivered a kettle with a European plug. It is single walled which can easily burn the user and the thermostat did not turn off the kettle when it boiled so it just kept boiling. The did not respond to any of my many emails and calls.

I too expected the worst
I too expected the worst, but it all worked perfectly well. The reason I won’t give 5 stars is that the customer service response is poor, both by email and phone. But it all came together and on time. I didn’t expect it.

As a postscript, the company promised a 10% refund and that arrived today (2 Feb). My overall conclusion is that this is a disorganised rather than dishonest supplier. But I wouldn’t use again for that reason unless they sold something unavailable elsewhere.

I was really worried about my order…
I was really worried about my order having read all the negative reviews, however in fairness , my order ( a pair of Hay Trestles ) arrived today in a relatively timely manner well packed and in good condition, so no complaints and a really good price

Poor Customer service and items are not in stock!!
**updated** 17.01.2022 - After leaving reviews and contacting via Facebook Messenger and Instagram they have now advised the products are not in stock and are refunding to purchase. I will update again once this has been received.

I placed an order on the 22.12.2022 for two stools and they were showing as a 1-2 week lead time, to date I have not heard from Made In Design with a delivery date. I have emailed several times this last week and also called but so far have not heard from anyone!!! All I have received is an email saying we have acknowledged your email sent and someone will be in touch. I am starting to think this company is either in trouble and is going to cease trading or it is a scam! Order Number is #200334225 so let's see if I now get a response as they have a couple hundred pounds of my money and I have no goods to show for it!!!! Really POOR service. Please research before you order from this company.

Ordered a Seletti lamp on the 18th…
Ordered a Seletti lamp on the 18th November 2022. Email acknowledgment of order. No further communication. Still have not received lamp. Emailed the company. No response. Nothing wrong with their marketing team, however…I get offers every other day.

I have signed this document twice for my refund but hey what a surprise you haven't received it. Well you recieve everything else I send. No other company wants a signed document for a refund and it's not mandatory by law at all.but I will get a refund !!why don't you do something about your terrible reviews instead of adding rediculas excuses.

SCAM!
SCAM!! Ordered an expensive record player (£3k) which apparently left the warehouse on December 12th but have had absolutely no communication from Made in Design or the stated delivery company since. I’ve called and emailed repeatedly with no helpful response. I will be issuing a chargeback through my bank. DO NOT GIVE THIS BUSINESS YOUR MONEY.

Product came about 2 weeks after…
Product came about 2 weeks after ordering. Slightly outside of promised timeframe but understandable due to the time of year.
May not have ordered if I was aware was coming from France so the website could be more transparent that dealing with a French company. Nothing against the French!- just wary of Brexit cross border issues.
Product arrived in satisfactory condition delivered by DPD and we were happy with the design quality. The brand was Eva Solo and although John Lewis stock some of their stuff what we ordered was not available so maybe getting from France was only option.

Fake company
Placed an order for £134 and had no further communication. The person
who answered the customer services number told me he had to speak
quickly and gave me a French number which no one answers. Clearly a fraudulent company. Have registered a dispute with PayPal and will report to trading standards if no refund in next 24 hours. Shocking that they are getting a way with this repeatedly
